(TK-4th Grade)

Beyond Alphabets offers enrichment programs that are designed to be fun, engaging, and non-traditional, fostering a dynamic learning environment.

All Of Our Teachers Are Fully Credentialed

and the curriculum used in our enrichment programs is aligned with California state standards. To ensure a personalized learning experience, each child will undergo assessments during the first two weeks of school. This allows teachers to gain a clear understanding of each child’s academic and social skill levels, ensuring targeted and effective support.

For TK To 1st Graders

the programs focus on hands-on, sensory, and project-based activities that help develop both social and academic skills. While students will also receive age-appropriate academic worksheets, the core subjects for this group include basic reading, writing, math, social studies, fine arts, and Spanish language.

For 2nd To 4th Or 5th Graders

the programs become more challenging, offering advanced subjects such as math, reading, writing (including storytelling), social studies, science projects, fine arts, and advanced Spanish.

For Homeschoolers

Beyond Alphabets organizes fun and educational field trips and playdates, providing opportunities for social interaction and hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom.

Important Information for Parents of Homeschoolers

​

Tuition Policy:

Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. These fees are due once per academic year.

For charter school enrollments on a monthly schedule, guardians must send a screenshot of the monthly request to Beyond Alphabets by the 15th of each month for the following month.

For semester enrollments, guardians must submit two requests per semester, including separate payments for registration fees and material fees. A screenshot of each semester request should also be sent to Beyond Alphabets.

For charter school enrollments, we recommend paying semester fees to ensure timely payments, avoid late fees, and secure your child’s spot.

There is a $200 annual registration/material fee that covers school supplies, curriculum, and workbooks. Guardians may be charged on either a semester or annual basis.

 

 Private pay families:

Tuition must be paid before the first day of the following month to avoid late fees.

Enrollment fees are due by the first class of the semester, unless using charter school funds.

Charter school vouchers, certificates, or purchase orders must be submitted before the first class.

No refunds or make-up sessions are offered for absences or holiday closures.

 

Withdrawal Policy:

If for any reason your child will no longer be attending Beyond Alphabets, guardians are responsible for submitting a formal letter to Beyond Alphabets, detailing the request to terminate enrollment. The letter must be submitted 30 days in advance. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the full tuition being payable out-of-pocket by the parents.

Parent Involvement:
At Beyond Alphabets, we cherish creating meaningful connections with families. Parents interested in volunteering can sign up using the provided sign-in sheet. This ensures everyone has the opportunity to assist with classroom activities, reading sessions, and teacher support during designated times. We deeply appreciate the valuable contributions from our families!

 

Curriculum Purchases:

Beyond Alphabets offers a customized curriculum tailored to meet each student's individual needs. The program includes:

- 180 days of immersive learning in Geography, Science, Social Studies, Math, ELA, and Spanish Language. Schoolhouse Discoveries themed unit study kits provide a comprehensive, multi-subject experience, integrating engaging lessons and activities in language arts, math, science, social studies, art, sensory play, movement, and more!

- A variety of California-based standard curriculum from Teachers Pay Teachers 

- IXL Learning and Khan Academy for interactive practice 

- National Geographic for engaging Science, Social Studies, and Geography content 

All of these resources align with state standards to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality education.

 

In addition, Beyond Alphabets offers enrichment activities that enhance learning and foster creativity through hands-on projects and exploration.

 

Beyond Alphabets is committed to continuous improvement, regularly refining its programs, curriculum, and teaching methods to stay current with the latest educational advancements and best practices. 

Parents may occasionally be asked to purchase specific curriculum materials directly from Beyond Alphabets to support the academic growth and development of our students. Please review the terms and conditions for more information about the curriculum materials.
